Food Allergy Awareness Week

Food Allergy Awareness Week (FAAW) begins tomorrow, May 12th-Mother's Day.
We, at SunWise Foods, wanted to take this opportunity to share a few
thoughts about what we have learned since last FAAW.
We know that our little, delicious pocket sandwich is just a small part of
this amazing Food Allergy Community. However, it is a series of small
parts doing something meaningful that create the unmistakable friendly nature
we have experienced in the FoodAllergy Community (FAC). So even though we
think our SB &J sandwich provides our consumers a way to enjoy a classic
comfort sandwich, that is still safe, nutritious and yummy, we also learned in
the past year that it is also our responsibility to be a participating member
of the FAC. As a result, we have been active in several FAAN walks over the
past year, either as a sponsor or donor. We continue to be open to any
request we receive to help spread the needs, requests, stories and events of
the many new friends we have come to know. We see that most of the members
in the FAC do just the same- remarkable to say the least.
So as we continue this very important
month, we hope to encourage a few friends to get involved, introduce a few more
people to what having a food allergy means and why they need to know more about
it. We will always strive to support the Super Advocates, parents,
bloggers, educators and volunteers in their efforts to do the same.
So let’s go walk, advocate, educate, volunteer and raise a few bucks for the
Food Allergy heroes in all our lives! Our SunWise Team will be out again
this year with FARE Walk Las Vegas-help us and your other FAC friends raise
money for the Walks- We can't wait to see what they do 'cause we love to
PAL with FARE!
